Props, Set, Costume building
We take so much inspiration from pages we find on the internet, we thought we would return the favor. Here are some construction shots of items we (Jr. Players Board, Parents and Actors) have made for our various shows.
Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
Candle elements for Lumiere. Black plastic paint can as base for head piece, wire armatures and Rigid Wrap*. (Created by Brian Carroll, our Lumiere's dad.)
*Rigid Wrap plaster gauze by Activa. Easy to use (cut to workable size, dip in water, apply to object, smooth). There are other brands of Plaster gauze, but one I tried wasn't as easy to work with, didn't smooth out as well. Working it too much washed away the plaster and exposed the gauze instead of ever getting smooth.
